I started this company in 1984, back when Arlington was half the size it is now and most garage doors were manual. Named the business Mainspring because that single spring carries the entire weight of your door - everything else is just hardware. Forty-two years later, I’m still answering the phone at odd hours, still driving out when a spring snaps on a Sunday, and still writing the 90-Day Done Right Promise by hand on every invoice. I’ve watched homeowners try to adjust their own spring tension with a wrench and a YouTube video. Don’t. I’ve got the scars so you don’t have to.
Marcus T., Lead Technician
Marcus has been with us fourteen years, and he’s the reason our trucks carry the inventory they do. He keeps a running list of which springs fail most often in Arlington’s clay-heavy soil neighborhoods - the ground shifts, the frame settles, the door binds, and suddenly you’re looking at a cable replacement in Dalworthington Gardens or a track realignment off Matlock. He grew up in East Arlington, graduated from Sam Houston High, and he’ll recognize your street name before you finish saying it. Jesse joined us two years ago, straight out of Tarrant County College’s HVAC program, looking for work that didn’t involve crawling through attics in August. Smart move.
